A care-first approach
General caution for the proposed kit. This is not a final compatibility guide and not evidence that samples have passed testing.
Start with the fabric, not the tool
- Read the care label. Furniture and garment manufacturer instructions take priority.
- Patch-test out of sight. Check an inconspicuous area with very light pressure before any broader pass.
- Look for change. Stop if fibers lift, snag, discolor or show surface wear.
- Keep it clean. Grit caught in a brush can scratch. Use only the final supplier-approved cleaning method.
Do not assume universal compatibility
Delicate knits, silk, loose weaves, loops, distressed fabric and damaged surfaces may be unsuitable. Car interiors can contain mixed materials and coatings. We will publish a tested compatibility and exclusion list after evaluating the actual tools.
For fabrics, not pets
No direct animal use. This is not a grooming kit. Keep small accessories and packaging away from children and animals. Do not use on skin or make medical, allergy-removal or damage-free assumptions.
What testing will cover
Representative upholstery and clothing, repeat use, seams, roller mechanisms, brush shedding, cleaning and packaging. Final instructions depend on the selected product and manufacturer documentation.
